Welcome, I'm glad you're here.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues and emotion dysregulation. I use evidence-based therapies found here. My approach centers on helping you navigate what’s happening in the present while understanding how the past has influenced the patterns you carry today. I take an intersectional perspective, considering how the different parts of your identity shape your experiences and your story.
As a first-generation South Asian clinician, I understand the cultural and generational dynamics that shape many individual experiences. In addition to the other treatments I provide, I specialize in working with South Asian clients navigating identity, belonging, and mental health while balancing family expectations and personal values. My approach respects cultural roots while creating space for self-reflection, emotional growth, and open conversations around mental health that may have felt out of reach in the past.
My clinical work has taken place in a range of settings including hospitals, schools, private practices, and community mental health clinics where I’ve treated individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide variety of mental health needs. I’ve received extensive training in individual therapy, running skills-based groups, and crisis intervention, with a strong emphasis on treating high-acuity clients using structured, research-driven interventions.
Prior to opening my own practice, I worked as a staff clinician at a group private practice, where I provided comprehensive DBT, evidence-based interventions, and parent-focused support for adolescents, adults, and families.
I’m originally from Nashville, Tennessee, and recently moved back after spending 16 years in New York City. Outside of my clinical work, I love cooking and baking, hosting dinner parties, biking, lifting weights and playing with my family dog, Harvey. I value growth, curiosity, and exploring new hobbies.
